Graphic Design

The graphic design course is aimed at giving students an understanding of and practical application of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Students will initially learn idea generation which will be followed with the exploration of principles and elements of design to give them a solid foundation as required.
Students will demonstrate understanding of the role of colour, layout and typography in ensuring effective graphic design. They will be able to produce design pieces that meet specific objectives.

Projects assignments include the design of logos, posters, complimentary cards, book covers, and advertisements.

This course is designed for senior high students who want to develop their talents to enable them express themselves digitally in a two-dimensional form. It is also for senior high students who want to build a portfolio for university admissions.

Required Equipment
All the students must have a 64-bit windows laptop computer loaded with Adobe CS6 or CC Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign programmes.

Pre-requisite: Drawing and Illustration
Duration: 28 Saturdays – 84 Hours.
Tuition Fee: GHS300 Monthly for 6 months
