The Advertising Copywriting program is designed for those aspiring to work in the marketing communications industry as copywriters. Copywriters are wordsmiths or storytellers who know how to play or dance with words and are able to craft advertising and marketing messages that create a call to action. In an advertising agency, copywriters work closely with art directors to determine the contents of an advertisement.

The program aims to teach the specialized skills necessary to create powerful and effective advertising copy for print, social, radio and Television media Students will learn to develop positioning statements and campaign themes and create persuasive messages for promoting variety of brands. Related important topics include principles of advertising and marketing, research basics, consumer behaviour and fundamentals of marketing communications. The applicant must have obtained at least Grade B or Diploma in English language.
